Light held at the edge.
A vertical composition built around restraint, contrast, and the last trace of brightness in the scene.
BEHIND THE FRAME
This frame depends on how little light is left. The mountain is not opened up for easy reading; much of it remains dense, almost withheld. Kassem keeps the vertical composition narrow, so the remaining brightness has to do more work. What matters is not a dramatic sunset, but the last visible edges of form before the scene closes down.
