A brief meeting of seasons.
Snow and gold create a restrained contrast, giving the image a calm, lucid edge.
BEHIND THE FRAME
Snow and gold share the frame for a brief moment. Kassem keeps the composition calm, so the seasonal overlap does not become decorative. The photograph is clear because it does not overstate the contrast. Colour remains, winter has arrived, and the scene holds both facts with a simple, lucid restraint.
